Message Dammit!!! Working on the z can be so fun and at other times so frustrating!!! I can't emphasize how frustrated and disappointed I am right now.

On to the details. End of last month I decided to go ahead and do the 120k timing belt replacement. It's the first time doing it and decided to do it over Spring Break; giving me ample time to complete it should something go wrong and because it was the only time I had to work on the car between my 2 jobs and school. So it took me about 2 days to get everything off and replace the parts that came in the 120k kit. Everything went accordingly and I was enjoying this project. Well, I start the car and after about 15 secs. all "hell" breaks loose. The belts start "screaming" and oil is pouring out from who knows where. Boy, in the last message I posted here was I kidding myself by saying I'm ready for the next 120k. It came all too soon. Guess that's what I get for speaking prematurely.

Over the last 2-3 weeks I squeezed in couple mins here and there to get everything off. This past Friday is when I completed removing everything for the second time. I checked all the seals and made certain that they were all properly seated/installed. Installed everything up to the water pipes and let the gasket cure overnight. Then today (saturday) I tightened everything esle and held my breathe that everything was good to go. Start the engine and same damn thing..... It's not holding oil, it's not dripping oil; it's pouring oil like crazy!!! Not sure who's crazy, maybe I held my breathe too long, but this is driving me insane!!!

Here's what I'm thinking and please help me with it:
A. The cam seals are not the right ones for my NA? I don't know if there is a difference between the TT and NA. I do know for a fact that Coz sent me the wrong drive belts, but they'll be used on my Project TT. The seals on all 4 cams went in fairly easily. I was able to push them in by hand and then slightly tapping them into place.

B. The scratches on the front of the oil pump housing, which I feel are minor and shouldn't be a factor; is actually the cause of all the oil pouring out?

I was supposed to have gone out with some friends and enjoy my Saturday evening with them since I got off work early, but am no where close to being in the mood for a good time. I told them what happened and why I couldn't go. Some of them just don't understand what it's like to be a z owner. The relationships that we have with our Z. Well, looks like I'm going to be doing this for a third time within a month. I'm also thinking of just pulling the engine to install the rest of the gaskets, EFI wiring harness, and having the body sent to the body shop. Thanks for hearing me out and sorry to bore some of you. I'll definately be posting pics soon; when I feel better...
